1. Who we are
Sehat Planet ("Sehat Planet", "we", "us" or "our") is a wellness marketplace operated by Make My Health International Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at C 3345, 2nd Floor, Green Fields Colony, Faridabad 121003, Haryana, India. We connect individuals seeking Ayurveda and Naturopathy based care with independent wellness retreats, clinics and hospitals ("Partners") across India.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, portals and related services (together, the "Platform"), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Platform.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a secure one-way hash), and the role you register with (customer or partner).
- Profile information you choose to provide: date of birth, gender, city, state and postal address.
- Health-related information: health concerns, conditions or symptoms you share when browsing condition pages, submitting a booking request, filling enquiry forms, or chatting with our assistant. This is sensitive personal data and is handled with additional care as described in Section 4.
- Booking information: the programs or centres you enquire about or book, preferred dates, number of guests, and notes you add to a booking.
- Partner onboarding information: for wellness centres joining the Platform, business details, registrations, certifications, facility descriptions, staff credentials, photographs and supporting documents.
- Communications: messages you send us through contact forms, corporate wellness enquiries, support tickets, email, phone or the on-site chat assistant.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URLs and interaction data collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).
3. How we use your information
We use your information only for legitimate purposes connected with running the Platform, including to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you when you log in.
- Process booking requests and share the necessary details with the Partner you choose, so they can confirm, prepare for and deliver your program.
- Match you with relevant conditions, programs, retreats and content, and personalise what you see on the Platform.
- Respond to enquiries, support requests and corporate wellness requests.
- Send service communications such as booking confirmations, status updates and important notices about your account or the Platform.
- Send marketing communications about programs, events and wellness content, only where permitted, and always with the option to opt out.
- Operate, maintain, secure and improve the Platform, including debugging, analytics and fraud prevention.
- Verify, approve and manage Partner listings and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Health information
Information about your health concerns and conditions is sensitive personal data. We collect it only when you voluntarily provide it, for example when you describe your concern in a booking request or chat conversation.
We use health-related information solely to help you find suitable programs, to pass relevant context to the Partner you book with, and to respond to your enquiries. We do not sell health information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than the Partner involved in your booking and service providers who process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
Content on the Platform, including condition guides, audio books and chat responses, is for general information only and is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified practitioner before starting, changing or stopping any treatment.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following circumstances:
- With Partners: when you submit a booking or enquiry, we share your name, contact details and the details of your request with the relevant Partner so they can serve you. Partners are required to use this information only for fulfilling your booking.
- With service providers: hosting, cloud storage, communication, analytics and AI-assistance providers who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
- For legal reasons: where required by law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Sehat Planet, our users or the public.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy: account data for as long as your account remains active; booking records for as long as required for service history, dispute resolution and legal compliance; and support communications for a reasonable period after resolution.
When data is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time (see Section 9), subject to records we must retain under applicable law.
7. Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we handle, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, token-based authentication, role-based access controls, and restricted access to production systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and browser storage mechanisms that are necessary for the Platform to function, such as keeping you signed in, remembering your language preference and remembering interface settings.
We may also use analytics to understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling essential cookies may affect core features such as login.
9. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access: request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
- Correction: update or correct inaccurate or incomplete data. Most profile details can be edited directly from your account.
- Erasure: request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw previously given consent at any time, with effect for future processing.
- Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with us regarding the handling of your personal data, and if unresolved, approach the Data Protection Board of India.
- Opt out of marketing: unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in any such email or by contacting us.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Children's privacy
The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Bookings for minors must be made by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for any information shared about the minor. If you believe a child has provided us personal data directly, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including Partner websites and external registration pages for events. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
